These are HIVEhomemade test kitchen approved and ready for enjoyment - complete with a HIVEhomemade paleo hot chocolate recipe sure to please a warm (or cold, for that matter) chocolatey craving any day of the week. Paleo Christmas Crack-

Yes! It’s that addictive. These were voted last year’s favorites by our hive!

Paleo Butter Pecan Cookies-

Reminiscent of Mexican wedding cookies, buttery + nutty + melt-in-your-mouth good!

We are confident you won’t even miss all the refined sugar in this holiday staple.

perfect Cut-out paleo sugar cookies-

The best cut-out cookies were hard to find, but I think we have done it! Your family + friends won’t even guess these are grain free.

big + chewy paleo gingerbread cookies-

A moist + chewy take on a traditionally crunchy classic is the perfect holiday twist, in our opinion.

Homemade Dark Chocolate Honey Mints-

No baking + 4 ingredients… YES, please! Besides, what says “Happy Holidays” better than chocolate + peppermint??? Nothing!

Paleo Marshmallows-

Because homemade marshmallows beat store bought. Every. Time. + What is hot chocolate without them?!

The perfect hot chocolate! It doesn’t get any more warm + comforting than this.

HIVEhomemade Paleo Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe

Dry Mix “HIVEhomemade

Ingredients:
  • 1 c. Cacao Powder
  • 1 c. Collagen peptides
  • 2 c. Coconut sugar
  • 1 c. Powdered coconut or goats milk (optional)
  • 1/8 t. Sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
  • Shake it all up! 


Optional Serving Suggestions:
I suggest starting with 1 T. or heaping spoonful (add more if desired) + hot water + non dairy milk, healthy creamer, or goat's milk. (Our favorite is Picnik Butter Coffee Creamer - it is the perfect creamy addition in our opinion.) Try one of our variations below or keep it simple with the best of the best. Add a touch of honey, maple syrup (my personal fave), or more coconut sugar to taste if needed.


Other variations/additions:

Mexican Hot chocolate - add cinnamon + red pepper

Spicy Hot Chocolate - red pepper or spicy ginger

Turmeric Hot chocolate - add turmeric + cinnamon

Minty Goodness - add fresh mint and/or peppermint oil

Chocolate Chai - add chai tea

Extra healthy - add MCT oil + ghee for an extra creamy filling version

Cafe Mocha - Add 1 T. to your favorite coffee. This is my favorite way to use this recipe!!!


Other Tips:

- Add marshmallows!

- Use this recipe all year round for hot or cold beverages.

- This makes for a great gift in a jar.

- Add a T. to your favorite smoothie, oatmeal, or rice pudding recipe.
